Chef Roby has won more than 20 prestigious culinary awards including, The Grand Prize Gold Medal of Paris offered by the French First Minister Medaille Des nautes) and the Best of Show by the National Restaurant Association Culinary Salon 1988, in Chicago. At the National Pastry Team Championships in 2001 in Beaver Creek and in 2005 in Phoenix, Chef Roby's team proved they were among the country's finest pastry artists, as they impressed the judges with their themed array of pastry creations, including impressive sugar showpieces created by Chef Roby. Chef Roby's team was awarded the Bronze Medal both years.

Chef Alain Roby to Make Autumn Cornucopia at The All-Chocolate Kitchen

Just a reminder that Chef Alain Roby again will create a sugar sculpture, Saturday evening, September 25.  This week's treat is an autumn cornucopia.  Be sure to visit from 6 - 7:30 p.m. to get a chance to view this beautiful piece.  It will be for sale once it is completed that evening.

Thank You, Thank You...Chef Alain Roby's All-Chocolate Kitchen Opened with a Great Start!

Just a reminder that my All-Chocolate Kitchen is open Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.

This Saturday evening, I will be sculpting a pumpkin out of sugar that will be for sale following the event.

With more than 600 visitors last weekend, we are eagerly awaiting next week's guests! We are excitedly preparing for this weekend with more pastries, chocolates and coffee.

The All-Chocolate Kitchen is open!!!

The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived!  At 6:00 p.m. this evening, we are officially open to the public!  Please tell your friends, neighbors, family and loved ones to join us at our "home" away from home!  This a special moment for us all to share.  As you enjoy the weekend's festivities in town, please be sure to stop by and visit us.

Chef Roby wants you to visit his kitchen

Chef Roby wants you to visit his kitchen

You've read about his world-record chocolate creations, now you can see how he does it - and help a charity researching congenital heart disease in children.

Chef Alain Roby, senior corporate pastry chef for Hyatt Hotels, will be creating an "All-Chocolate Kitchen" at 507 S. Third St. in his hometown of Geneva for the next four months.

He'll open the doors to this creation at 6 p.m. Friday in a 2,000-square-foot suite, donated for Roby's use by the Shodeen family...

Chef Alain Roby's All-Chocolate Kitchen will open this week!

Esther and I cannot wait to open our doors to the public this Friday, September 10.  We have been so very busy getting all the last minute details ready for everyone to see.

We have special thanks to go out to a new sponsor, J & M Signs, as they are putting up one of the very last pieces for us -- our exterior signs -- thank you, thank you!

The carpet has been rolled out and we are thrilled for the community to come visit our dream-come-true!
