Chef Roby has won more than 20 prestigious culinary awards including, The Grand Prize Gold Medal of Paris offered by the French First Minister Medaille Des nautes) and the Best of Show by the National Restaurant Association Culinary Salon 1988, in Chicago. At the National Pastry Team Championships in 2001 in Beaver Creek and in 2005 in Phoenix, Chef Roby's team proved they were among the country's finest pastry artists, as they impressed the judges with their themed array of pastry creations, including impressive sugar showpieces created by Chef Roby. Chef Roby's team was awarded the Bronze Medal both years.

Chef Roby's All-Chocolate Kitchen to Re-Open Late May/Early June

Chef Roby and his wife, Esther, are relocating to their permanent location at 33 S. Third Street in Geneva, IL.  The opening is scheduled for end of May, early June.  Details will be posted here shortly.  Thank you for your patience.

Chef Alain Roby Offering Tastings and Courses in The All-Chocolate Kitchen

Chef Alain Roby Announces February Events for The All-Chocolate Kitchen



Geneva, IL – Chef Alain Roby and his wife, Esther, are excited to announce the upcoming events for the month of February in The All-Chocolate Kitchen. Store hours are the following:


• Sunday - 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Monday - 1 – 5 p.m.**

• Tuesday - 1 – 5 p.m.

• Wednesday – Closed.

• Thursday – Closed.*

• Friday – 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

• Saturday – 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.


**Chocolate tastings are available, by reservation only, for Monday evenings until 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy a sampling of Chef’s finest chocolates and hot cocoa. Cost is $30 per person.

 * Chef will offer the course, The Art of Plated Desserts, on Thursday evenings from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. Guests will be taught the art of beautiful dessert presentation and have the opportunity to create two classic French and two classic American specialties. Reservations are required and cost is $40 per person.

In addition, The All-Chocolate Kitchen welcomes, by reservation, birthday parties, ladies night out, club meetings, socials and corporate functions.

SPECIAL NOTE: On Saturday evening, February 12 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. watch as Chef Alain Roby creates all-sugar hearts right in The All-Chocolate Kitchen.

The Kitchen Is Complete At Chef Alain Roby's All-Chocolate Kitchen

After more than three months of hardwork, Chef Alain Roby and his wife, Esther, are happy to announce that their All-Chocolate Kitchen is finally complete. More than 1,500 pounds of Barry Callebaut Chocolate was used to complete the task. Highlights of The All-Chocolate Kitchen, which is more than 12 feet long, include a stove, putter sink and high-end cabinetry all made of chocolate. Chef Alain Roby is most proud of the range hood and stained-glass window that are included in his masterpiece. According to him, these two pieces are extremely detailed and are designed of chocolate, sugar and paints made from food coloring.

The All-Chocolate Kitchen continues to be open at 507 S. Third Street in Geneva, IL. As a reminder, Saturday evenings showcase some of Chef's world-renown talents as he creates sugar sculptures and on Monday evenings, guests can reserve their very own chocolate tasting, where Chef's chocolates can be sampled and his hot chocolate enjoyed.

To date, more than 1,000 guests have visited the unique shoppe, where a portion of all proceeds benefit the Saving tiny Hearts Society.

Chef Alain Roby Completes The All-Chocolate Kitchen

Chef Alain Roby is excited to announce that the All-Chocolate Kitchen is complete! Since beginning work in September, he has spent countless hours replicating the details of his own kitchen in more than 1,000 pounds of the exclusive Barry Callebaut Chocolate.

Visitors to the All-Chocolate Kitchen will see Chef's own QCCI cabinetry, appliances, stained glass windows and other intricate components that make up his high-end kitchen. He and his wife, Esther, are grateful to the community for embracing their dream and becoming loyal customers to the showroom. Other All-Chocolate Kitchen offerings include an up-close look at some of Chef's most amazing chocolate and sugar sculptures, as well as the opportunity to purchase some of his most delectable desserts.

Each Saturday evening, Chef continues to share some of his expertise with visitors by creating sugar sculptures on-site. In addition, he continues to suprise his guests with numerous holiday fare. Also, on Mondays, guests can participate in an "All-Chocolate Tasting" that allows them to sample five of Chef's chocolate and even his own hot chocolate. A portion of all proceeds go to The Saving tiny Hearts Society.

Chef Alain Roby's All-Chocolate Kitchen is open Fridays from 12:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sundays from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Mondays from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m.
